Today, we took Ellen to visit the Yu Yuan Gardens and Bazaar. The gardens were really beautiful - with many rock formations, traditional Chinese architecture and landscaping. Even the camelia trees and cherry trees were starting to blossom! (Maybe that means the cold, cold winter is just about over - and we can actually sit in our house without blankets on!) After we walked around the gardens, we went to to the Bazaar...it was crazy! So many people there to celebrate Chinese New Year. We made it through the crowd and ducked in to sample some Japanese food. Doesn't seem quite right to have Japanese food on Chinese New Year, but oh well. It was still tasty!
