Yesterday, we did something we never thought we'd cross off on our 'to do' list in life... Ride on the back of an elephant! The elephant was HUGE. Mom even took off her flip flop to feel the back of the elephant. She said it felt weird! (leathery and kinda wirey). She said she was a little grossed out by it, but said she just had to do it!
The elephant moved very slowly and with each step our little carriage tipped from side to side. It was a bit scary. Anytime we went down a little hill, the elephant pick up speed which made your heart skip just a bit. After our ride, we got to feed the elephant sugarcane!
